LPH are very pleased to be returning to one of our favourite venues, Scratchers at The Three Lions, Godalming on Saturday 15th June. We always have a great night there, with plenty of dancing and audience participation, it would be great to see you there. Entry is free and music is between 9pm and 11pm

There are some fantastic acts on over the 2 days, There has been a lot of exited interest in the event now its back at its rightful place of Stoke Park.

What a night at The Fifth Hants Volunteer Arms we had on Saturday. The event was organised by Weekend Offender Records. For quite a small venue the sound was amazing. First up were the brilliant Alien Graystar, beautiful acoustic melodies and really strong original music, we followed them up, i think we went down rather well, even though we do say so ourselves! And finally headlining were the brilliant Hooch. Ive seen this band a number of times now and they just seem to get better and better. So all in all a great night was had by every one.

Weve had an absolute whale of a time at various Private Parties over the last couple of months, starting off with Dogfest for Emmas 50th in July, even the constant downpour of rain couldnt dampen our spirit! We then moved onto Steve’s 60th a week later which was an amazing evening. We followed that up with Eva’s 5oth, which was more of an acoustic stripped down kind of vibe, but we still managed to rock it out before the end, and finally last weekend was The Alkie’s 60th where i think we did ourselves and The Alkie’s proud!, somewhere inbetween those 4 we played HMV Woking, so you can appreciate that its been an exhausting few weeks, but no time for rest as we have, Southsea Free Music and Thameside Brewery, Staines approaching. This has to be our busiest year to date. Long may it continue!

We have never described ourselves as a covers band. We enjoy the creative process and the satisfaction that only writing our own material can give us. However, realistically we are a relatively new band and we understand that most venues don’t really want to listen to original material, so we have embarked upon a new album of cover versions of some of our favourite songs from the 60’s, 70’s 80’s 90’s and even the 00’s!
There were only three criterions that we have stuck to throughout the process
So the idea is that a venue will listen to the album, enjoy it and offer us a night to play it.
